Workshop: Creative iPad Integration
Description: This workshop provides a solid background for understanding the iOS in public school settings. It includes a thorough discussion of apps for creativity, productivity and problem solving. Hands-on activities will be provided using apps like Pages, Keynote, Faces iMake, Puppet Pals HD, iMovie and more. All units have been developed according to ISTE NETS.S standards for K-6 students. This workshop is available as half-day or full-day experience.
Workshop: Coding with the iPad
Description: This hands on workshop gives teachers an introduction to K-4 coding tools like Hopscotch, Kodable, Lightbot and Cargobot. Teachers will become familiar with sequencing, variables, loops, and basic coding vocabulary. Teachers will also be show given resources for exploring coding on other technology platforms.
